Hello,
I am breathing through my mouth as I write this because my nostrils are no longer complying with my basic need for air. I'm dosed up to the eyeballs on Beechams powders and typing beneath an avelanche of rolled up tissue. Attractive this is not.
But enough of my brush with the common cold, let me tell you something more interesting.
Our BBC unsigned show went really well and we had some lovely comments from the panel, so much so we were asked the next day to come into the studio for a live session in December. The date is the 19th, so get that on your mobile calendar. A big thank you to those of you who emailed and text in with your comments; we had overhwhelming support and I'm sure that didn't do us any harm!
The creative juices are flowing and we have a couple of new songs in the pipeline for you, as well as a rather interesting cover of Mamma Mia. I know I know, I've kept you waiting for some Abba action for too long. Keep an open mind, that's all I'll say.
Looking forward to the babalou gig, and our slot at the Oxjam fundraiser on the 23rd; I love a bit of charidee. Get down and show your support, the Oxjam committee have worked their socks off so it would be great if we could rally round.
Right, I must resume my sneezing and snotting. Oh my poor nose is hurting. As if it wasn't big enough, it's now big and red, you could probably see it from space. Lovely stuff.
Lot's of Love,
Sarah x
